What do workspaces for tomorrow look like?

People are changing the way they work. They are realising a person does not have to be office-bound to be productive. They’re realising that they can work any time, from anywhere and on any device. There are many different terms for this concept. Some call it smart working, others call it activity-based working. At Dimension Data, we call it workspaces for tomorrow.

What is a smart workspace?

A smart workspace is an environment where employees can work more productively, efficiently and with ease. Whether they are the huddles, conference rooms with touchdown areas, open-plan workstations, quiet rooms, project areas – there is a wide variety of different work settings that people use for activity-based working.

“Workspaces for tomorrow”, in its essence, is about creating spaces to fit the activities that people want to do. Conducting a sales meeting over the phone is a workspace where your colleagues are trying to finish month-end reports does not foster a productive environment.

Many of our clients are asking how they can get there. How they can move to this highly productive environment that is eco-friendly and has economic benefits (including reduced rental costs).

This is what we are doing for our clients today: Creating workspaces that work for their business. Click here to learn how to create workspaces for tomorrow that work for your business.
